Dungannon Swifts win the Euro Electrix Mid Ulster Youth Cup
Congratulations are extended to both Dungannon Swifts (U-18) and Loughgall (U-18) both of whom reached the final of this season’s Euro Electrix Mid Ulster Youth Cup competition.
For Dungannon Swifts (U-18) it was their fifth successive appearance in the final with three wins out of the previous four finals. Certainly an impressive record to carry into this season’s final where they continued their winning ways with a clear victory over Loughgall.
Congratulations are therefore extended to Dungannon Swifts on winning and lifting the Youth Cup for a record 6th time. Loughgall (U-18) are highly commended on reaching the final and providing challenging opposition in what was a good sporting final.
Dungannon Swifts' left side attacker James Teelan won the Man of the Match after scoring an excellent hat-trick, which followed his fine brace in the semi final win against Portadown.
